Playoffs
PLAYOFF RULES
PLEASE CALL YOUR OPPONENT IN ADVANCE TO CONFIRM YOUR GAME.
1. Each coach will receive via email a playoff entry form. Please complete it and email it back to peter_g_kokinis@sbcglobal.net.
2. The starting time for playoff games is 5:30 pm on weekdays and 10 am or 1 pm on Saturdays.
3. The higher-ranked team (determined by points at the end of the regular season) will be the home team. This ranking will remain with the team throughout the tournament. The home team will be responsible for the bases.
4. Rainouts will be made up the following day except for rain outs on Saturday. Saturday rainouts will be played on the following Monday. If a home field is not available the game will be played on the visitor's field with the home team being the higher-ranked team.
5. In the playoffs, four-and-one-half innings shall constitute a full game if the home team is ahead, and five innings shall be a complete game if the visiting team is ahead.
6. Both teams will supply two new balls for each game.
7. Please call your final record at the end of the season and all playoff games to the League Office at 529-5557, as well as to the Hartford Courant at 241-6435.

JUNIOR DIVISION Championship: Wednesday, August 6
The top 24 teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top eight will receive a first round.
Teams will be reseeded after the first round. Lowest seed will play 16, the second lowest
seed will play 15, 3 will play 14. etc. The same bracket as the 16 team bracket in the Preps.
